*** Honorary Ex-Pat *** Salty 'Ham Cartooneestas honors our long lost brothers and sisters: those cartooneestas who are from these parts, but have since moved away. Mark Martin now resides in Texas. . . . Pat has a BFA from The University of Alabama and an MFA from The University of Arizona and has shown his work in Spain, New York, and Chicago and has been in national and regional art shows. He shows locally at Bare Hands Gallery and with The Amanda Schedler Gallery. Pat draws upon the conventions of editorial cartoons and graphic novels like American Splendor and Black Hole while using the first person narrative in his work.
